Why do we only care when it is too late?

One thing that makes me super mad is that why people don't take depression seriously. We all have so many people around our self yet we feel alone. I think depression is one the most dangerous diseases, depression take things to a next level because you can't see what is going on in some ones mind. When you are ill, your body shows you the signs of sickness and then the people around you make you go see a doctor and takes extra care of you until you get better. Why cant we do this when some one is going through depression or having anxiety? Okay, you may ask that how to know if some one is having any emotional issues? The simplest answer is just ASK. Reach out to the other person. Notice the small gestures, their facial expressions. Notice that how present they are in a group discussion.
